Peanut Butter Pie

  2. Heat oven to 350 F. Place vanilla wafer crumbs in a medium bowl.
  3. Pour over the melted butter and stir to combine.
  4. Divide equally into two 9-inch pie tins.
  5. Press mixture onto bottom and up sides of pie dish.
  6. Transfer to oven and bake until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Remove to a rack to cool completely.

  9. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment combine the cream cheese, peanut butter, and condensed milk.
  10. Mix until smooth.
  11. Add confectioners sugar.
  12. Using a large rubber spatula fold in 3 cups Cool Whip.
  13. Pour mixture into cooled pie shells.
  14. Decorate cake as desired with more cool whip.
  15. Garnish with chocolate shavings and peanuts.
  16. Refrigerate or freeze until firm.
