Old-Fashion Potato Soup

  1. Cut up pork into small cubes, removing all fat.
  2. Cover with water in a large pot.
  3. Bring water to a nice boil; skim top of water.
  4. Add salt and pepper according to taste.
  5. Add onion and celery; cook about 1 hour until meat is done.
  6. Add potatoes, cut into bite size cubes.
  7. Cook until potatoes are done, not mushy. Mix in a medium bowl 2 cups of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Beat in eggs and 1/2 cup of milk.
  8. Add milk if too dry.
  9. Drop into soup at full boil.
  10. Cook 5 to 8 minutes.
  11. Turn soup off.
  12. Add milk to taste.
