Cucumber, Leek, and Fried Tofu Seasoned with Wasabi

  1. Put the soy sauce in a bowl.
  2. Cut the leek in half vertically and then cut diagonally in thin slices and let soak in the soy sauce.
  3. Lightly brown the aburaage in the toaster oven (after browning, use a paper towel to drain the oil).
  4. Cut the aburaage in half vertically and then cut into thin strips.
  5. Cut the cucumber in half vertically as well, and slice diagonally.
  6. Dissolve the wasabi in a tablespoon of sake and then add to Step 1.
  7. Add Steps 2 and 3, and then it's done.
