French Onions
- 2 sweet onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for tossing
- 14 cup water
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup crouton
- 12 cup gruyere cheese, grated
- chopped fresh parsley
- Toss sliced onions with worcestershire sauce, water, olive oil, salt and pepper in a baking dish.
- Cover and roast at 425 degrees until tender, 25 minutes.
- Toss croutons and grated cheese with some parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper; sprinkle over the onions and bake 5 more minutes.
