Turkey Pot Pie

  1. Rinse frozen peas and carrots under cold water to separate; drain.
  2. Heat butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.
  3. Stir in flour, onion, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in broth and milk.
  7. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  8. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  9. Stir in turkey and vegetables.
  10. Prepare pastry. Pour turkey mixture into pastry-lined pan.
  11. Bake at 425u0b0 about 35 minutes.
