Liberal Waffles
- 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 12 cup ground roasted soybeans
- 14 cup powdered milk
- 14 cup ground flax seeds
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups skim milk
- 2 eggs
- 12 cup canola oil
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Combine dry ingredients except walnuts in a large bowl, and mix well.
- Whisk wet ingredients together in smaller bowl.
- Pour liquid into dry ingredients, and mix until thoroughly blended.
- Heat waffle iron.
- Pour 1/4 cup waffle batter into waffle iron, and sprinkle a handful of nuts on top of batter.
- Bake for 4-5 minutes until waffle is crispy and brown.
- Serve hot, or reheat in the toaster later.
