Japanese Fruit Cake

  1. Mix the mixed fruit, cherries, pineapple, raisins and nuts; set aside.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar together.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Sift all dry ingredients together.
  5. Combine with fruit mixture.
  6. Add to batter; mix well.
  7. Pour in 3 (8-inch) cake pans.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 until sides leave pan.
