Russian Teacake (Nut Balls)

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450
  2. Thoroughly mix butter, sugar and vanilla together.
  3. Work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  5. Place on undressed baking sheet.
  6. Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until set, but not brown.
  7. While warm, roll in extra confectioners sugar.
  8. Cool.
  9. Roll in sugar again.
  10. Makes 3 dozen
