Peggy Mann Fruit Cake

  1. Melt in saucepan the butter, sugar and apple pie filling. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  2. Mix together the fruit and nuts.
  3. Sift together the dry ingredients over the fruit and nuts.
  4. Mix until they are well coated.
  5. Fold in pie filling mixture and mix thoroughly.
  6. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours, or until done in a preheated 325u0b0 oven.
  7. Wrap in foil when cold.
  8. May be eaten soon, or will keep for 3 or 4 weeks.
