Almond Double Chip Cookies Recipe
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, Softened
- 3/4 c. Packed light brown sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1/2 tsp Almond extract
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 c. Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. Vanilla lowfat milk chips
- 1/2 c. Slivered blanched almonds
- Preheat oven to 375'F.
- Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or possibly leave ungreased.
- Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl till creamy.
- Beat in egg and almond extract.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Blend in butter mix.
- Stir in semisweet and vanilla lowfat milk chips and almonds.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 3" apart, onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 8-10 min or possibly till light brown.
- Don't OVERBAKE.
- Cold 2 min on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks to cold completely.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
