Spring Rolls in 3 Easy Steps
- 10 Spring roll wrappers
- 4 Chicken tenders (or pork)
- 100 grams Bamboo shoot
- 3 Shiitake mushrooms
- 1/3 Chinese chives
- 2 tbsp each Soy sauce and sugar
- 1 tsp Japanese soup stock (granules)
- 1 dash Katakuriko dissolved in water
- Cut the vegetables and chicken into small pieces and stir-fry in a frying pan.
- Add the ingredients for seasoning.
- Add the katakuriko slurry and stir until it thickens slightly.
- Lay out the spring roll wrappers, add the fillings, and wrap them up.
- Fry in 170 degrees C oil until golden brown.
- All done!
- (The filling is cooked already, so all you need to do is fry them until they're browned.)
- These are good for bentos... (I made the spring rolls in the photo by cutting the spring roll wrappers into quarters before wrapping them)
