Cedar Plank Brie with Nuts and Bing Cherry Sauce

  2. Soak a cedar plank in water for at least an hour so it doesnt catch fire.
  3. I put mine on a rimmed cookie sheet, poured water into the pan and set a coffee mug on top of the plank to keep it submerged.

  5. Heat grill to a nice medium-high heat, about 400 F. Prep plank by grilling it for three minutes on each side.
  6. Place brie on one end of the plank and close the cover.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Then remove it from the plank/grill and put it onto your serving platter.
  9. 3.
  10. In the meantime, heat oil olive and honey in a small pan over medium heat.
  11. Add nuts and cook for about 5 minutes.
  12. Then remove the pan from the heat.
  13. 4.
  14. Assemble your brie.
  15. Slather brie with the cherry preserves and top with honeyed nuts.
  16. Arrange crackers around it and serve.
  17. Note: Cedar planks are sold in the meat department of most super markets.
