Deep Dish Chicken Pie Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook potatoes, onion and carrots in water for 15 min or possibly till tender crisp; drain well.
  3. Mix vegetables, chicken and parsley in 3 qt baking dish.
  4. Heat 2 Tbsp.
  5. butter.
  6. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
  7. Gradually stir in chicken broth and cook till sauce thickens and come to a boil.
  8. Pour over vegetable-chicken mix.
  9. With hands, flatten biscuits and put an onion slice into the middle of each.
  10. Arrange biscuits over top of mix and brush with a little melted butter.
  11. Bake 45 min or possibly till biscuits are golden brown.
