Chocolate Bliss Bites
- 12 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 14 cup Splenda granular, sugar substitute
- 3 large egg whites
- 18 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Line 2 baking sheets with foil or parchment.
- Sift Cocoa, pinch of salt and 1/4 cup sugar mixture in small bowl.
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in large bowl w/ electric mixer on med-low until soft peaks form.
- Beat in remaining sugar mixture, 1/2 tbsp at a time, until meringue is glossy and stiff peaks from,.
- Fold in cocoa mixture and vanilla extract.
- drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 1" apart on baking sheets.
- bake 25 minutes for chewy or 40 min for crispy.
- Dust with confectioners sugar.
