Meatless Meatballs With Mushroom Sauce
- 1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. Bisquick
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed chicken broth
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of Tabasco
- 3 c. whole milk
- Pour over bread.
- Cover and keep in refrigerator overnight. In the morning, melt 1/4 pound butter or margarine; pour over bread/egg mixture.
- Cover with crushed corn flakes.
- Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350u0b0.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
- I serve with fresh fruit and hot cinnamon rolls.
- The mess is gone before you cook it!
