Philadelphia Sushi Dip

  1. Thats it.
  2. These simple ingredients really bring out the flavors of a full blown sushi roll.
  3. Begin by placing the block of cream cheese onto your serving plate, and then spread it out in a circular motion.
  4. On top of the cream cheese, gently spread on the wasabi paste, trying to spread it in the inner circle.
  5. I like to first make the paste by adding a couple of tablespoons of wasabi powder to about 4 tablespoons of water.
  6. Once you have the paste, add a bit more water to make it a little smoother.
  7. Next, drizzle the soy sauce on top and around the plate.
  8. Sprinkle the sushi rice seasoning on top.
  9. What is great about this stuff is that it has sesame seeds and bits of nori (which is edible seaweed) in it, and combined it really gives this the sushi taste you are looking for.
  10. Sprinkle the green onions on top, and dig in with the rice crackers.
  11. This dip is perfect for anyone looking for that sushi taste, or better yet, for those who have never had sushi.
  12. You could even get a bit creative with this one adding pickled ginger, shrimp, or practically anything you would want to order at a sushi restaurant.
