Boiled Chestnuts Using a Pressure Cooker
- Wash the chestnuts, put them in a pressure cooker, and add enough water to cover them.
- Heat the pressure cooker until it comes up to pressure.
- Lower the heat and cook under pressure for 5 minutes.
- Leave the cooker to cool and de-pressurize naturally.
- Drain the chestnuts into a colander, and peel them using a knife.
- Be careful not to cut yourself!
- Eat as-is.
- Or put them in simmered dishes, stir fries and so on.
- Add them at the very end.
