Kookie Bars
- 2 12 lbs schwans frozen refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, thawed
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup caramel topping
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 ounces chocolate frosting
- Heat oven to 375.
- Thaw 30 pieces Schwan's cookie dough.
- Press cookie dough and 1/2 cup pecans into ungreased 9"x13" baking pan.
- Pour caramel topping over the top and set aside.
- In medium bowl, combine flour, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla; stir until well blended.
- Sprinkle over caramel topping and press down.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool then spread with frosting and sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecan pieces.
- To make it easier to cut into bars, you can put pan in the freezer for 30 minutes.
