Pear Tart
- 16 PEEK FREANS Rich Tea Biscuits, finely crushed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1-1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 can (16 oz.)sliced pears in juice, well drained Safeway 1 lb For $1.88 thru 02/09
- Mix cookie crumbs, sugar and butter.
- Press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom or springform pan.
- Bake at 350F for 5 minutes.
- Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Pour milk into medium bowl.
- Add pudding mix and cinnamon.
- Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- Refrigerate 10 minutes.
- Top with pear slices in decorative pattern.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
