Ground Beef Quiche Recipe
- 1 pie shell, frzn or possibly your own
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 (5.33 ounce.) can evaporated lowfat milk
- Bake pie shell for 5 min only.
- Let cold.
- Meanwhile, brown meat and onion; drain excess fat.
- Add in seasonings and cold.
- Spoon into pie shell and pat lightly.
- Sprinkle mushrooms and cheese proportionately over top.
- Beat Large eggs and lowfat milk till well blended.
- Pour over pie and bake at 425 degrees till set, about 20 min.
- Reduce oven to 350 degrees and continue baking till top is golden brown, about 25 min.
- Let stand 8-10 min, cut into wedges and serve.
