Walnut Butterballs (snowballs)

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add vanilla and mix
  3. Add flour and mix well
  4. Add walnuts and mix
  5. Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch diameter) and place on un-greased sheet
  6. Bake at 315F for about 10 minutes just to firm (might take a little longer but don't let bottom get too brown)
  7. Roll in finishing confectioner's sugar and place on wire rack to cool
  8. After cool roll in more confectioner's sugar (if desired)
