Cherry Party Salad Supreme
- 1 (3 oz.) red cherry or raspberry jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 ( 1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. real mayonnaise
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed undrained pineapple
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. heavy chilled cream
- Dissolve red cherry or raspberry jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in pie filling.
- Turn into cold water rinsed 9-inch baking dish or pan.
- Chill until partially set.
- Now dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup boiling water.
- Beat cream cheese and mayonnaise together.
- Very gradually beat in lemon jello.
- Stir in pineapple and its juice.
- Whip heavy cream or 1/2 envelope of dessert topping mix according to package directions.
- Fold into lemon mixture with marshmallows.
- Spread on top of cherry layer and sprinkle with nuts.
