Chocolate-Glazed Almond Bars

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Pat into a 9x13 baking pan coated with cooking spray.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites, sugar, and almond filling until blended.
  6. Stir in the almonds.
  7. Pour over the crust.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until sett.
  9. Cool completely on a wire .
  10. Drizzle with chocolate.
  11. Cut into bars.
  12. Store in the refrigerator.
