Sesame Steak Stir-Fry
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 2 large onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. ginger flavored soy sauce
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 3 lb. cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Oriental bean sauce
- 1/2 lb. snow pea pods, trimmed
- 1/2 lb. bean sprouts
- 1 Tbsp. slivered ginger root
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) boneless top round steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
- 1 1/4 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 1 (15 oz.) can baby corn ears, drained
- 1 large red pepper, seeded and sliced thin
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons salad oil.
- Saute sesame seed for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Place in shallow, glass baking dish.
- Add onions, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bean sauce and ginger.
- Stir to combine.
- Marinate steak in mixture, covered and turning occasionally, in refrigerator 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain steak, reserving marinade.
