Apple and Raisin Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.
  2. Add apples, and increase the heat to medium-high.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the white wine, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and golden raisins.
  5. Cook over medium heat until the liquid has reduced and is thick.
