Kimpira (Burdock root & Carrot)

  1. Scrub the burdock root with a brush (no need to peel) and cut into thin shreds.
  2. (Soak them in water to remove the strong taste)
  3. Peel carrot skin and cut into thin sticks.
  4. Drain the burdock root in a strainer.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, then put the burdock root, carrot, and chili pepper.
  6. Saute them until wilted.
  7. Add sake and stir 30 seconds, then put in the * ingredients , and saute until the liquid is almost gone.
