Oatmeal Cinnamon Crispies

  1. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, then molasses and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Shut off mixer and add the baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Blend. Gradually add flour and blend. Stir in oats and nuts. On greased cookie sheets, drop by teaspoonfuls. Bake for 5 to 9 minutes in 375u0b0 oven until medium brown and crinkly looking. Makes roughly 24 dozen cookies. They freeze well. Great recipe for a cookie exchange because it makes so many.
