Arrowroot Cookies

  1. Cream butter or margarine and sugar.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Stir remaining ingredients together and add.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Roll to 1/8 inch thick on floured surface.
  6. Cut into 2 1/2 inch rounds.
  7. Prick with fork.
  8. Grease baking sheet.
  9. Bake in 350 degree (175 C.) oven until golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  10. Allow a bit more baking time if rolled thicker.
