30-Minute Mexican Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 15 ounces tomatoes stewed
- 3/4 cups steak sauce A1
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin ground
- 16 ounces black beans canned, rinsed and drained
- 11 ounces corn canned drained
- 1 x cheese shredded, for garnish
- 1 x sour cream for garnish
- 1 x tomatoes chopped, for garnish
- In a large heavy pot, over medium-hight heat, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
- Add beef; cook and stir until browned.
- Drain off any accumulated fat; stir in tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, steak sauce, chili powder and cumin.
- Heat to a boil; reduce heat to low.
- Cover; simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in beans and corn; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot; garnish with cheese, sour cream and tomato.
