Beef With Black Bean Sauce (Si Jap Ngau Yuk) Recipe
- 1 lb Lean beef, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Chinese cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp. Corn starch Peanut oil for stir frying
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic, chopped Peanut oil for stir frying
- 1 c. Green pepper, bite size pcs
- 1 c. Red pepper, bite size pcs
- 1 c. Onion, cut it pcs
- 2 Tbsp. Black bean sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. Water (cool)
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1.
- Mix soy sauce, chinese cooking wine and corn starch, add in beef and mix to coat.
- Marinate 15 min.

- Heat wok.
- Add in peanut oil and garlic, stir fry 1 minute till oil is aromatic.
- 3.
- Add in beef, stir fry 2 min till lightly browned.
- Remove beef.
- 4.
- Reheat wok, add in peanut oil, peppers and onions, stir fry 2 min.
- 5.
- Add in beef, stir fry 1 minute.
- 6.
- Add in black bean sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil.
- 7.
- Mix cornstarch with water, add in and stir fry to thicken sauce.
