Spaghetti Sauce And Meat Ball
- 2 12 oz. cans tomato sauce
- 2 12 oz. cans tomato paste
- 2 cans of water
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 2 cans mushrooms
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Italian Bread Crumbs
- In large skillet brown onion and sausage in butter; add sauce, paste and water. Then add the salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaf, Italian seasoning, sweet basil, parsley and mushrooms; simmer for four hours.
- Mix the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl and shape into balls, brown lightly in skillet. Then add meatballs to sauce and simmer for 2 hours.terve over your favorite pasta or spaghetti.
