Roast Chicken With Automatic Gravy(Bob'S Own)
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken (for small covered roasting pan)
- 1 can Campbell's mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. mushroom Cup-O-Soup
- 3/4 soup can fresh milk (skim or whole)
- butter flavor spray oil
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped or 1 (8 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
- Prepare chicken by removing all the visible fat, wing tips and tail.
- Wash thoroughly and dry well.
- Spray with oil inside and out.
- Sprinkle garlic powder over outside and in the inside.
- Put chicken in a small roaster, uncovered.
- Roast at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes to brown.
- Blend both soups together; then add milk.
- When chicken is brown, put soups over and around chicken.
- Add mushrooms and bake with cover on for 1 hour at 350u0b0.
