Taffy Apple Salad

  1. Mix pineapple, sugar, flour, egg and vinegar in medium saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Refrigerate 3-4 hours, or overnight.
  4. Mix together apples, nuts, Cool Whip.
  5. Fold in refrigerated mixture.
  6. Top with additional nuts if desired.
