Chocolate Gingerbreads

  1. Beat sugar and butter until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, molasses, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves.
  3. Whisk flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Stir into the butter mixture.
  5. Do no chill dough.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls and sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake at 350 8 to 12 minutes.
