Teriyaki Beef Kebabs

  1. Slice meat into 3 inch strips, 18 inch thick.
  2. Mix all ingredients for sauce, except brown sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Marinate beef strips in sauce 3 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Drain, reserving sauce.
  5. Weave beef strips back and forth on skewers.
  6. Brush with sauce.
  7. Preheat grill.
  8. Arrange skewers on grill and grill 8 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  9. In saucepan, stir brown sugar and cornstarch into remaining sauce; bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
  10. Serve thickened sauce over skewers on a bed of rice.
