Baked Stuffed Apples
- 4 medium baking apples
- 12 cup chopped mixed fruit
- 2 -4 teaspoons toasted pecans, chopped
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 18 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 -3 tablespoons cold butter, cut up
- Core apples, cutting to, but not through, bottoms; peel 1 inch skin from tops.
- Fill apples with combined remaining ingredients and place in slow cooker; cover and cook on high until tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
