Breakfast Yogurt Bread
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. whole bran cereal
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 (6 oz.) carton yogurt
- 2 pkg. snack pack size (.9 oz.) dried mixed fruit and nuts and grains
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- In large bowl stir together all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, bran cereal, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Make a well in the center.
- In small bowl combine egg, yogurt, milk, and oil.
- Add mixture all at once to flour mixture.
- Stir in fruit packages until just moistened.
- Pour into a greased loaf pan (8 x 4 x 2-inch).
- Bake at 350u0b0 about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove and cool or serve warm (112 calories per serving).
