Almond Quiche Recipe
- 1/2 c. Onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 x Egg, beaten
- 1 c. Half and Half
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Pepper, white
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 c. Almonds, sliced
- 1 x Pie Shell, baked
- 1.
- Saute/fry onion in butter till tender.
- In small bowl, beat together the Large eggs, both milks, flour and pepper till lightly frothy.

- Stir in the cooked onion, cheese and toasted sliced almonds till well mixed.
- 3.
- Pour the mix into a still warm baked pie shell.
- Bake at 325F for about45 min.
- 4.
- When done, a knife inserted in the middle will come out clean.
- Let stand for 10 min, slice and serve.
