Basic Bran Muffins Recipe
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. Kellogg's All Bran
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. shortening or possibly vegetable oil
- 1.
- Stir together flour, baking pwdr, salt, and sugar.
- Stir to combine.
- Let stand about 2 min or possibly till cereal and lowfat milk is softened.
- Add in Large eggs and shortening and blend well.
- 2.
- Mix cereal and lowfat milk into bowl and add in to Step One after it stands for 2 min.
- 3.
- Add in flour mix, stirring only to combine.
- Pour into 12 (2 1/2") muffin pan c..
- 4.
- Bake at 400 degrees about 20 min till golden.
