Sylvia'S Shepherd'S Pie
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 10 large potatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 large cans string beans, drained
- 2 large cans corn (whole kernel), drained
- 4 large yellow squash
- 5 large carrots, diced, cooked (2 cans, drained)
- salt to taste
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- Saute ground beef and onions together.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add pinch of sage, 1 pinch of mustard.
- Cook until brown; drain and wash off.
- Peel diced boiled potatoes, then mash boil beans, corn and carrots separately.
- Cook squash until tender (drain).
- In square 9 x 9-inch pan.
- Layer ground beef mixture, green beans, squash, corn, carrots, mashed potatoes.
- Cover with cheese.
- Bake at 325u0b0 until cheese is melted and browned.
