Shrimp Scampi

  1. Start pasta water over heat.
  2. Salt the water.
  3. Saute pan add the butter and olive oil to medium to low heat.
  4. Saute garlic for just a minute.
  5. Toss in shrimp to just pink.
  6. Salt and pepper.
  7. Add pepper Flakes.
  8. This only takes 2 minutes.
  9. Immediately take of the heat.
  10. Toss in parsley and lemon jest, juice and slices.
  11. Taste it.
  12. After your pasta is done (to instruction of package), scoop out of the water to Shrimp and sauce.
  13. Keep your Pasta Water to add if you Scampi needs moisture.
