Fettuccine with Snow Peas and Walnuts
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 Tbsp. pancetta or bacon, diced Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. 35% cream
- 1/4 cup Kraft Shredded Asiago
- - fettuccine, cooked, drained
- - fresh snow peas, blanched
- 2 Tbsp. walnut pieces, toasted
- to taste salt and pepper
- Saute onions and pancetta in butter in large skillet on medium-high heat 3 to 5 min.
- or until pancetta is crisp and onions are tender and lightly browned.
- Add garlic; cook 1 min.
- Stir in wine and cream.
- Bring to boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add cheese; cook 1 min.
- or until melted, stirring constantly.
- Add pasta, snow peas and walnuts; cook just until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Season with the salt and pepper.
