Rasberry Streusel Bars
- 1 12 cups all- purpose flour or 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 34 cup butter
- 1 12 cups oats (Robin Hood or Old Mill)
- 1 cup smucker's pure raspberry jam
- 12 cup sliced almonds
- icing sugar
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in mixing bowl.
- Stir well to blend.
- Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in oats.
- Press about 2/3 crumb mixture into lightly greased 13x9-inch cake pan.
- Spread with raspberry jam.
- Add almonds to remaining crumb mixture and sprinkle over jam.
- Pat down lightly.
- Bake at 375F for 30-35 minutes, or until golden.
- Cool.
- Cut into bars.
- Just before serving, dust with icing sugar, if desired.
