Sausage casserole
- 2 lb bulk pan sausage
- 12 large eggs
- 2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 4 1/2 cup cubed day old bread
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cup whole milk or evaporated milk
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter/margarine
- Brown the sausage set aside drained
- Preheat over 325 Fahrenheit.
- Place bread in a well buttered 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine the eggs, milk, dry mustard, and onion powder.
- Pour evenly over the bread and cheese.
- Sprinkle sausage over the top
- Let sit for 10 minutes before putting in the oven.
- Bake uncovered for about one hour.
- Cover with foil if top begins to brown too quickly.
