Granola
- 3/4 c. oil
- 3/4 c. honey
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. wheat germ
- 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
- 3/4 c. nuts
- 1 c. raisins
- Combine the first 7 ingredients and mix well.
- Mix remaining ingredients (except raisins) in a large bowl.
- Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture and mix thoroughly, leaving only a few lumps. Spread on 2 greased baking sheets or large roasting pan (to prevent spills).
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes or until dry but not browned. Stir frequently and watch closely.
- Can also be baked at lower temperature until dried.
- When dried, add raisins and mix.
- Cool thoroughly.
- Store in jars or plastic bag.
- Yields 9 cups.
