Pizza Casserole
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. pepperoni, sliced
- 6 oz. pkg. spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Parmesan cheese
- Boil pepperoni 5 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Cook and drain spaghetti.
- Add butter and a generous amount of Parmesan cheese to spaghetti.
- Cook onions and ground beef together; drain. Add tomato sauce and seasonings to meat; simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Add drained mushrooms to meat sauce after it simmers. Layer in 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish in this order:
- spaghetti, grated Mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, meat sauce and sliced Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
