Pizza Meat Loaf Pie
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. seasoned Italian bread crumbs
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 c. thinly sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- oregano to taste
- In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, milk, egg, bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons tomato paste.
- Mix with hands until well blended.
- Lightly grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.
- Spread mixture on bottom and up sides to form crust.
- Spread remaining tomato paste over surface of meat mixture.
- Arrange onions and mushrooms over top.
- Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano.
- Place on bottom rack of preheated 375u0b0 oven. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until crusty.
- Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
- Serves 6.
