Pesto With Green Beans
- 14 oz. long pasta
- 7 oz. green beans
- 3 tbsp. pesto sauce
- 1/2 c. vegetable or chicken broth
- salt and ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. Fresh basil
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in another pot of boiling, salted water, cook green beans until tender, about 4 minutes.
- Drain pasta and return to pot.
- Stir in pesto sauce and broth.
- Drain green beans; add to pasta.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add basil; toss to coat.
- Serve immediately.
