Gourmet PB & J, minus the J
- 2 slices Whole Wheat Bread
- 1 Tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter (smooth Or Crunchy)
- 2 whole Strawberries, Thinly Sliced
- 1/2 whole Banana, Thinly Sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Honey, Divided
- 1/4 cups Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- Put 1 tablespoon butter in a nonstick skillet and melt over medium heat.
- Spread peanut butter evenly onto each slice of bread.
- Place strawberries on one half and bananas on the other.
- Drizzle one tablespoon of honey over the strawberries and bananas.
- Put the slice of bread with the bananas onto the strawberry half, creating a sandwich.
- Place the sandwich in melted butter and toast on the first side for about 3 or 4 minutes, until browned and toasted.
- Melt the remaining butter, if needed, and toast the remaining half in the butter until it is also toasted and golden brown.
- Remove the sandwich from the pan and place on a serving dish.
- Put Greek yogurt into a condiment dish or small bowl.
- Add remaining honey and cinnamon and stir together.
- Use this as a dip for your sandwich.
