Spaghetti Fondue Recipe
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
- 1 loaf French or possibly Italian bread, cubed
- Heat oil in large saucepan.
- Add in onion and seasoning, cook and stir till onion is transparent.
- Stir in tomato paste and sauce.
- Cook over low heat 15-20 min, stirring occasionally.
- Toss Swiss cheese with flour.
- Keeping pan over low heat, gradually add in cheese to sauce.
- Stir till all cheese is melted.
- Blend in soup; heat and stir till smooth.
- Keep hot.
- May be served in bowl, chafing dish or possibly fondue pot.
- Dip bread chunks into sauce and enjoy.
- Served with a tossed green salad.
